The Good Bite Kitchen  is one of Lake Placid’s best places for breakfast or brunch.  Though they offer an entirely vegetarian menu, you don’t have to be a vegetarian to find something delicious to eat here.  Enjoy hand crafted soups, quiches, pies and more!

Paradox Lodge Restaurant – Experience fine dining the Adirondack way. Every dish is cooked to perfection, the wine is carefully paired, and each dining experience is personal and intimate.  Reservations are strongly recommended.

Cake Placid – This is more than just an ordinary bakery! Get gourmet cakes, scones, muffins and more from Cake Placid.  Try fun flavors like Creamsicle or Blueberry Pancake and don’t be surprised if you come out having found the best cupcake you’ve ever tasted!

Chair 6 – Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Chair 6 uses fresh, local produce to create innovative, unique cuisine that brings the farm straight to your plate.  Try their twists on traditional favorites like their great specialty sandwiches for lunch, and delicious daily pastas at dinner.

The Scape uses organic, local ingredients to increase the flavor, freshness and nutritional value of their food. They have a great selection of sandwiches and wraps, as well as tons of fresh smoothies and organic juices. Stop by on Tuesdays, Fridays, or Saturdays for hot lunches.

The View Restaurant  – Located at Lake Placid’s premier luxury resort, Mirror Lake Inn, the View Restaurant offers a truly unforgettable dining experience.  Winner of the Wine Spectator’s Dining Guide Award of Excellence fourteen times, The View is committed to excellence and it shows in the effort and care that they put into each dish.  Menus are prepared seasonally using local and regional meats, cheeses and produce allowing diners to have the most flavorful and healthful meal.

The Brown Dog Cafe – A favorite with locals and tourists, the Brown Dog serves artisan sandwiches featuring imported cheeses, perfectly roasted meats and hand crafted breads.  In the evening the Brown Dog transforms from cafe to fine dining restaurant with an extensive wine list.  The atmosphere is especially romantic against the backdrop of Mirror Lake.

Lake Placid Pub & Brewery – Beginning over 16 years ago as a homebrew operation, Lake Placid Pub & Brewery has become known in the area for their award winning lagers and ales.  You can enjoy some of their award winning brews at their brewpub where they offer a unique twist on traditional pub food.

Redneck Bistro, BBQ & Grill – If you’re looking for barbecue, look no further! This place has it all; pulled pork, short ribs, burgers, sausage, and so much more. The only thing bigger than the menu is the portion sizes!
